Up Your Footwear Game with This Easy Jeweled Sock DIY
1/12What You Need
-A pair of socks
-Small flat-backed jewels
-A toothpick or pointed craft stick
-Beeswax
-A small plastic syringe
-A permanent paint marker
-E6000 glue
2/12Arrange the Jewels
Lay the socks flat and decide where you want the jewels to go.
3/12Mark the Design
Mark a small dot where you're planning to place each jewel. Be sure that they're only placed on the raised ribbing. (Tip: To see where the ribbing is raised, stretch the sock a little!)
4/12Fill the Syringe
Carefully pour the E6000 glue into the syringe.
5/12Apply Glue
Place a small bead of glue on the first few dots.
6/12Apply Beeswax to the Stick
Rub beeswax on the point of the craft stick.
7/12Place the Jewel
Place the jewel on the sock.
8/12Affix the Rest of the Jewels
Repeat the application process for each of your marked dots.
9/12Pick up the First Jewel
Use the now-tacky end of the craft stick to pick up the first jewel.
10/12Bond the Glue
As you apply the jewels, gently press each into place.
11/12Apply the Jewels to the Other Sock
Continue the application and bonding process on the other sock.
