Designer Erin Fetherston shows how to turn an ordinary headband into a magical accessory.
1/4Step 1: branch out
Cut small sprigs from a branch of silk cerry blossoms. Try to keep at least three tiny buds attached to each item. Begin by gluing sprigs to the top of the headband.

a thin plastic headband sprigs of faux flowers two yards of black velvet ribbon hot glue gun scissors
3/4the results
Now you're ready to show off your one-of-a-kind accessory!
4/4Step 2: wind it up
Wrap a ribbon around the headband, leaving enough excess on each end to tie behind your head. Weave ribbon through the blossoms, wrapping tightly. Glue in place as you go.
