How to Make Fabric-Wrapped Bangles
1/9What You Need
-Simple bangle bracelets
-A variety of printed cotton fabrics (about 1/4 yard of each type)
-Fabric scissors
-Fabric glue
-An iron and ironing board
2/9Iron the Fabric
Lay the fabric print-side down on the ironing board. Fold the edges in toward the center, and iron them flat. Your strip should now have a front side that is clean and a back side with an ironed seam.
3/9Cut a Fabric Strip
Cut a long strip of fabric that measures about one inch wide.
4/9Apply Glue
Apply a drop of glue on the front side of one end of the strip.
5/9Start Wrapping the Strip
Place the end of the strip inside the bangle, with the front side facing out. Tightly wrap the strip around the bangle, fully covering the glued end to keep the strip in place.
6/9Cut the Strip
Cut the strip just after the glued section, and hold it in place until the glue dries. Repeat with the other fabric on the rest of the bangles.
7/9Finish Wrapping
Continue wrapping the strip around the bangle for a few inches.
8/9Apply Glue
Apply a bit of glue inside the bangle under the final wrap.
