It scared me so much that I watched most of it from behind my hands! I dressed up as The Grudge last Halloween to immortalize my love (and fear) of the movie.

Stanley Kubrick + Jack Nicholson = the most brilliant, bone-chilling horror film of all time. Just don't make the mistake of watching it when you're home alone, like I did!

I'm scared of everything (including Scream), so I haven't made it through enough scary movies to make a legit case. That said: when I was an assistant, my boss sent me to see this movie in a screening room alone, without telling me anything about it. I think I died twice that day.

When I saw this in the theater I pulled the armrest off the chair I was so scared--enough said.

It's the most terrifyingly brutal film I've ever seen because it has such an "it could happen to you" quality.

I know this is such a cheesefest, but the first 20 minutes of this movie literally terrified me. I almost had to stop watching it. But after the first 20 minutes it's pretty funny.

In middle school, my friends and I were totally nerdy for old-school horror movies (hence, The Bad Seed) and The Changeling (not the Angelina Jolie one ) totally gave me the creeps! It's not a gore-fest, but is super super spooky and should not be watched home alone on a rainy night! Eek!

Jamie LeeCurtis-the original scream queen--running from the uber-creepy Michael Meyers still gives me chills.

When I was about 11 or 12 years old my friend and I rented this and tried to watch it late at night. We got through about 10 minutes, screaming the entire time, before we were scared so badly we had to turn it off. I still have nightmares about this one!
