white button–shirt with cuffs ruler, scissors, thread, and needle 10–14 squared crystal silver buttons cardboard or thick paper and pen blue cotton fabric
2/5Step 1: Going platinum
Remove all of the shirt's existing buttons from the front and the cuffs, then sew the silver crystal buttons on in their place.
3/5Step 2: Off the cuff
Using scissors, cut the collar off the shirt along the crease where it folds. Next, measure the length of the collar and add fourteen inches.
4/5Step 3: Into the blue
Mark the new collar length on the paper with a five–inch width. Draw and cut an oval with pointed ends. Cut the blue fabric to the same dimensions.
5/5Step 4: Top priority
Fold the fabric over and sew it together at each end, going inward seven inches. Sew the middle sides over the top of the shirt.
