Using tailor's chalk, mark the area two inches below the neckline with a line, and carefully cut the shirt along the line.

Layer the button-up shirt underneath the sweater, and pin them together along the V. Turn the shirt and sweater inside-out.
3/5Step 3: Snap Decision
Sew a hem along the shirt's edges, then sew snaps at corresponding two-inch intervals on the shirt and sweater. Snap the collar in place.
