Yara Shahidi is a woman of many talents — it’s one of the reasons Teen Vogue pegged her to interview Hillary Clinton back in 2017. Apart from her interviewing chops and acting skills, Yara is a Teen Vogue favorite for a few reasons — she’s smart, hilarious, and a fashion icon in her own right.

The 19-year old actor has been making the world laugh ever since her first role in 2009’s Imagine That, and today, she absolutely kills it in the role of Zoey in the Black-ish spin-off Grown-ish. As Grown-ish returns for another season, we thought it was high time to go back and look at some of Yara’s best style moments — from the Met Gala to the streets of NYC.
