Oh, the places you'll go! In 2002, when Doo-Ri Chung launched her label Doo.Ri, the New Jersey native was creating her signature jersey dresses out of a studio in the basement of her parents' dry-cleaning shop. Fast-forward to today: The fashion favorite won both the 2006 Council of Fashion Designers of America award for emerging talent and the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, a prestigious prize that gives her $200,000 plus a year of mentorship from a top industry ecutive. The accolades are paying off in more ways than one. Chung has finally moved out of her parents' digs and into a bright, open space in Manhattan's garment district.
