When Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tie the knot—allegedly at New York City's Madison Square Garden on Fourth of July weekend—will model and former Swift BFF Karlie Kloss be among the guests watching the pop icon and Super Bowl winner say their vows?

That was a big question for Swifties and celebrity wedding watchers, who were curious as to which celebs will snag an invite to the “royal wedding” of the year. But one of the biggest names on the potential guest list is Kloss, whose lore with Swift goes way, way back. So what is the truth about Karlie Kloss going to Taylor Swift's wedding, anyway?

It looks like the answer is… YES, she is invited, and she's on her way! The supermodel was spotted in a gorgeous strapless gown en route to the wedding celebration on July 3. Kloss, who smiled for cameras in New York City's SoHo neighborhood, was wearing a golden liquid silk dress with a Grecian vibe, plus red lips, toes, and fingernails—maybe a cute shoutout to Swift's longtime love of red lipstick? She wore her hair loose and long in easy waves and carried a matching metallic gold bag. The mystery is solved… or is it? Of course, Kloss could be going somewhere else, but given the black-tie dress code for the wedding, the bevy of stars heading there as we speak, and the fact that she's all glammed up, all signs point to Kloss attending the Swift-Kelce wedding.

What was the rumor about Karlie Kloss attending the wedding?

In early June, TMZ reported that Kloss had, indeed, received an invite, though said intel was attributed to an anonymous source.

What's the story between Karlie Kloss and Taylor Swift?

Swift and Kloss became good friends after Swift shouted out the model in 2012 and even appeared on the cover of Vogue together, but they stopped publicly hanging out in the late 2010s and rumors of a fight or falling out began to swirl around them.

Swift was not in attendance at Kloss's wedding to Josh Kushner, though Kloss did appear at a 2023 Eras tour stop and some speculate Swift's song “It's Time to Go” is about Kloss. (The lyrics in question: “When the words of a sister come back in whispers that prove she was not, in fact, what she seemed / Not a twin from your dreams, she’s a crook who was caught.”) The TMZ piece said that while there were “real issues” between the two, they have since mended fences—but again, that's all speculation!

No one really knows what the truth is about Swift and Kloss's relationship except the two of them and their inner circles, but it appears that things may be A-OK between the two if Kloss and her husband are on the guest list.
